A Empresa de Assist\u00eancia T\u00e9cnica e Extens\u00e3o Rural do Cear\u00e1- Ematerce , em 2018, prestou servi\u00e7o de ATER para empreendimentos coletivos na apicultura familiar, em todas as regi\u00f5es do Estado do Cear\u00e1, principalmente, naqueles munic\u00edpios que t\u00eam tradi\u00e7\u00e3o na atividade. As metas, inicialmente fixadas pela Empresa, era assistir tecnicamente a 1.115 apicultores da agricultura familiar mas, suplantou todas as expectativas, atendendo a 4.460 apicultores, em 118 munic\u00edpios.<\/p>\n

Nesses munic\u00edpios, a Ematerce assistiu a 31.547 colmeias povoadas, obtendo a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de 561.037 quilos de mel. A produtividade obtidas chegou a 17,38 quilos\/ colmeia\/ano.<\/p>\n

A apicultura, no Estado do Cear\u00e1 \u00e9 uma atividade pecu\u00e1ria muito importante, principalmente, para as pequenas propriedades rurais familiares, contribuindo, assim, para o aumento da renda dos agricultores familiares, face aos pre\u00e7os sempre compensadores e f\u00e1cil aceita\u00e7\u00e3o pelo mercado consumidor .<\/p>\n
