A ag\u00eancia lembra que o sigilo de dados e de comunica\u00e7\u00f5es eletr\u00f4nicas \u00e9 um direito assegurado na Constitui\u00e7\u00e3o e nas regulamenta\u00e7\u00f5es da Anatel, sendo que a sua viola\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 pass\u00edvel de puni\u00e7\u00e3o nas esferas c\u00edvel, criminal e administrativa. &#8220;A ag\u00eancia trabalhar\u00e1 em coopera\u00e7\u00e3o com a Pol\u00edcia Federal e demais \u00f3rg\u00e3os do governo federal nas investiga\u00e7\u00f5es referentes ao assunto, no \u00e2mbito de suas atribui\u00e7\u00f5es&#8221;, diz o comunicado da Anatel.<\/p>\n<p>No \u00faltimo domingo o ministro Paulo Bernardo se reuniu com a presidente Dilma Rousseff e os ministros da Casa Civil, Gleise Hofmann, e da Justi\u00e7a, Jos\u00e9 Eduardo Cardozo, para discutir as medidas que seriam tomadas sobre a suspeita de que os EUA violaram tamb\u00e9m as comunica\u00e7\u00f5es locais de brasileiros.<\/p>\n<p>J\u00e1 o ministro das Rela\u00e7\u00f5es Exteriores, Ant\u00f4nio Patriota, declarou que &#8220;o governo brasileiro promover\u00e1 no \u00e2mbito da Uni\u00e3o Internacional de Telecomunica\u00e7\u00f5es o aperfei\u00e7oamento das regras. O Brasil dever\u00e1 propor \u00e0s Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas a iniciativa de proibir abusos e invas\u00e3o das informa\u00e7\u00f5es dos usu\u00e1rios da rede de comunica\u00e7\u00f5es para garantir seguran\u00e7a cibern\u00e9tica que proteja os direitos dos cidad\u00e3os e preserve a soberania dos pa\u00edses&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>De acordo com reportagem publicada pelo jornal &#8220;O Globo&#8221; em colabora\u00e7\u00e3o com um jornalista do brit\u00e2nico The Guardian, no \u00faltimo domingo, 7, a suspeita \u00e9 de que uma operadora norte-americana se valia dos acordos com operadoras brasileiras para capturar os dados e envi\u00e1-los \u00e0 NSA (Ag\u00eancia de Seguran\u00e7a Nacional, na sigla em ingl\u00eas).
