A<strong> Escola de Gastronomia Social Ivens Dias Branco (EGSIDB) <\/strong>\u2014 espa\u00e7o que integra a <strong>Rede P\u00fablica de Equipamentos Culturais (Rece)<\/strong> do <strong>Governo do Cear\u00e1<\/strong>, vinculada \u00e0 <strong>Secretaria da Cultura (Secult)<\/strong>, e gerido em parceria com o<strong> Instituto Drag\u00e3o do Mar (IDM)<\/strong> \u2014 reconhecida nacionalmente por sua atua\u00e7\u00e3o inovadora na forma\u00e7\u00e3o em cultura alimentar e gastronomia, participar\u00e1 da programa\u00e7\u00e3o do <strong>Festival LED 2026<\/strong>, promovido pela Globo e Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Roberto Marinho, nos dias 15 e 16 de maio, no Rio de Janeiro. A superintendente da Escola, Selene Penaforte, ser\u00e1 uma das palestrantes convidadas do evento, que re\u00fane educadores, pesquisadores, gestores e iniciativas transformadoras de todo o pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>A participa\u00e7\u00e3o acontece ap\u00f3s a escola p\u00fablica cearense conquistar o <strong>Pr\u00eamio LED \u2013 Luz na Educa\u00e7\u00e3o 2026<\/strong>, uma das principais premia\u00e7\u00f5es brasileiras voltadas \u00e0 inova\u00e7\u00e3o educacional. A Escola \u00e9 um projeto \u00fanico no Brasil e tem potencial para inspirar outras iniciativas no pa\u00eds que enxergam a gastronomia como ferramenta de transforma\u00e7\u00e3o social e valoriza\u00e7\u00e3o cultural<\/em>\u201d, afirma.<\/p>\n<p>A presen\u00e7a da Escola no Festival LED refor\u00e7a o protagonismo do Cear\u00e1 no cen\u00e1rio nacional de iniciativas educacionais transformadoras e evidencia a pot\u00eancia da gastronomia social como ferramenta de inclus\u00e3o, valoriza\u00e7\u00e3o cultural e desenvolvimento humano.<\/p>\n<h2>Sobre a Escola<\/h2>\n<p>Espa\u00e7o da Secretaria da Cultura do Cear\u00e1 (Secult), a Escola de Gastronomia Social Ivens Dias Branco (EGSIDB) \u00e9 gerida pelo Instituto Drag\u00e3o do Mar (IDM) e faz parte do Cultura em Rede, programa da Secult Cear\u00e1 que integra a\u00e7\u00f5es e pol\u00edticas culturais na sua rede de equipamentos p\u00fablicos. O centro de forma\u00e7\u00e3o, inaugurado em 2018 no bairro Cais do Porto, \u00e9 um espa\u00e7o formativo que associa ensino, pesquisa e compromisso social, reconhecendo a riqueza da forma de se alimentar do cearense, os diversos tipos de saberes, a cadeia de produ\u00e7\u00e3o, promovendo a inova\u00e7\u00e3o de produtos, incentivando o empreendedorismo social, qualificando para o mercado de trabalho e contribuindo para o combate \u00e0 fome, por meio de cursos de longa e curta dura\u00e7\u00e3o, que acontecem dentro da Escola e em comunidades pelo Cear\u00e1. Toda a programa\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 gratuita. O nome da Escola \u00e9 uma refer\u00eancia ao empres\u00e1rio Ivens Dias Branco (em mem\u00f3ria), do grupo M. Dias Branco, que financiou a sede doada para o Governo do Cear\u00e1, em uma parceria p\u00fablico-privada.
