O secret\u00e1rio da Infraestrutura, Lucio Gomes, acompanhou a visita e atualizou o governador sobre o avan\u00e7o dos trabalhos. A comitiva percorreu a p\u00e9 o trecho entre a esta\u00e7\u00e3o Borges de Melo at\u00e9 a Pontes Vieira, \u00e1rea que faz parte do trecho 3 da obra. \u201c O VLT ser\u00e1 important\u00edssimo para melhorar a mobilidade urbana de nosso capital e, quando conclu\u00eddo, ter\u00e1 13,4 quil\u00f4metros\u201d, observou Camilo Santana. Tamb\u00e9m acompanharam a visita o coordenador de Transportes e Obras da SEINFRA, Andr\u00e9 Pierre e a gerente da obra do VLT, Alexsandra Martinez.<\/p>\n<p>As obras do VLT, ramal Parangaba-Mucuripe, foram retomadas em julho de 2015 e est\u00e3o com mais de 60% de execu\u00e7\u00e3o. Os trabalhos est\u00e3o divididos em tr\u00eas trechos. O primeiro a ficar pronto ser\u00e1 o trecho 2, que est\u00e1 com 90% de execu\u00e7\u00e3o e fica entre as esta\u00e7\u00f5es Borges de Melo e Parangaba. O trecho j\u00e1 est\u00e1 em fase de opera\u00e7\u00e3o experimental, na qual o trem circula entre as esta\u00e7\u00f5es Parangaba e Borges de Melo, sem passageiros. Em seguida, deve ser conclu\u00eddo o trecho 1, que contempla a constru\u00e7\u00e3o da passagem inferior da Avenida Borges de Melo. Os trabalhos avan\u00e7am e j\u00e1 alcan\u00e7am 45% de execu\u00e7\u00e3o. J\u00e1 o trecho 3, que compreende o percurso entre as esta\u00e7\u00f5es Iate e Borges de Melo, est\u00e1 com o cronograma em execu\u00e7\u00e3o, com expectativa de entrega at\u00e9 o in\u00edcio do ano que vem.<\/p>\n<p>Saiba mais<\/p>\n<p>O Ramal atravessa 22 bairros, \u00e1rea que concentra mais de 500 mil moradores de Fortaleza. A previs\u00e3o de demanda potencial do novo modal \u00e9 de 90.000 passageiros por dia. O projeto prev\u00ea a constru\u00e7\u00e3o de tr\u00eas tipologias de esta\u00e7\u00e3o: a de Parangaba ser\u00e1 elevada, possibilitando a total integra\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 Linha Sul do Metr\u00f4 de Fortaleza e ao terminal rodovi\u00e1rio do bairro. A esta\u00e7\u00e3o Papicu tamb\u00e9m ser\u00e1 diferenciada e se integrar\u00e1 \u00e0 Linha Leste do Metr\u00f4 e o terminal rodovi\u00e1rio.
